Tour Pastoruri

The Pastoruri Glacier Tour Cordillera Blanca begins early in the morning with pickup from your hotel in Huaraz. As we leave the city, the landscape opens into the wide valleys of the Callejon de Huaylas, offering distant views of the Cordillera Blanca peaks.

Our first stop is Patococha Lagoon, a beautiful high altitude lake surrounded by wetlands. Here you may observe Andean birds such as wild ducks and flamingos, while enjoying your first contact with the alpine environment of the Cordillera Blanca.

We reach the trailhead of the Pastoruri Glacier, located at approximately 16,400 ft. From here, a short and well marked path leads toward the glacier viewpoint.
