Pisco Mountain Climbing Expedition - 4 Days
Pisco Mountain Climbing offers an ideal introduction to high altitude glacier mountaineering in Peru’s Cordillera Blanca for well acclimatized climbers looking to progress beyond trekking.
Starting from Huaraz, the route follows the scenic Llanganuco Valley toward Cebollapampa before ascending to Pisco Base Camp and Moraine Camp. Summit day involves glacier travel using crampons, ice axe, harness and rope while progressing toward the 5,752 m / 18,871 ft summit.
Although considered one of the more accessible glaciated peaks in the Cordillera Blanca, Pisco remains a serious mountain objective requiring physical preparation, acclimatization and proper glacier skills.
